Website Tips 101 - Industry Links for SEO

We're back with another quick SEO tip you can implement that can assist your website visitors and increase conversions. It all comes down to having an advantage over the websites of your competitors by providing something different. So our second SEO tip is:

8. Include an Industry Links page on your website to link to industry partners 

  • Google prize high-value links between websites, as it's providing more information to people visiting your site. Industry partners, accreditation associations and professional member associations can all be included on your Industry Links page.
  • Provide a link to the website of each of your partners. If possible, contact each partner to let them know you have linked to them on your website and ask if they can do the same for you. Some industry bodies have strict policies preventing this but it doesn't hurt to ask. Others need to approve how their logo branding will be displayed on your website before it goes live.
  • Develop non-Google-dependent traffic. Simply: think of your audience, cater to the specific needs of customers in your industry and provide content and service to satisfy those needs.
